problem

The
procedure
We use the ACCOR Plasma Pen device which projects a small electrical arc from the tip of the pen onto the surface of the skin. It does this without making direct contact. This heats the skin causing a tightening effect of the surrounding areas.
This plasma skin tightening effect continues for several weeks post treatment as new collagen fibres develop.

Plasma Pen is mildly to moderately uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain threshold is different and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. Numbing cream is helpful in reducing the discomfort during treatment.
Yes! Plasma Pen treatments result in the permanent tightening of your loose skin. However, your skin will continue aging and responding to environmental and lifestyle factors so it is likely that you will need future treatments.
The initial healing process usually takes 5 to 7 days and you may wish to avoid going anywhere during this period. We recommend no exercise straight after a treatment because any heat, steam or sweat could add to the inflammation already present. Ideally you want to avoid excessive sweating for 5 to 7 days during the healing process.
You will notice positive effects immediately after the first treatment but you will see final results after 8 weeks. For some, an additional treatment may be required after 3 months for maximum results.
Scarring can occur if the correct aftercare instructions are not adhered to. Always follow the aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner to avoid complications.
The tiny scabs that form at each point the Plasma Pen hits will start falling away after about 3 days but could take up to a week or so to completely clear. It is important not to pick these scabs as this could cause scarring.
