PRP

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy for hair loss is a 3 step medical treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, processed and then injected into areas of the face, neck, décolletage, backs of hands.

PRP can be used along with a micro-needling treatment such as Dermapen.

The
problem

Poor skin texture, wrinkles, dark circles, sun damage, acne scarring and obtrusive pores.

The
procedure

The process begins with the practitioner drawing blood from the patient’s arm and then using a centrifuge machine to separate out the red cells. The remaining platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the patient’s facial areas. A topical anaesthetic cream will be applied for about 45 minutes prior to this procedure.

Generally PRP injections are not painful. A local anaesthetic will be applied. You can expect mild discomfort and post-treatment bruising after this procedure.

Anti Wrinkle Injections work to relax the facial muscles so that you can be left with smoother skin without wrinkles and fine lines. PRP on the other hand uses your own blood to stimulate the skin on your face so that new, healthier skin cells can grow.

PRP promotes collagen production and stimulates it to develop complete facial rejuvenation instead of focusing on just specific wrinkles. It will improve skin tone and texture, tailoring the0 skin smooth and tight.

You should start to see results within a week. After 1 to 2 months you should see rejuvenated skin that appears younger and feels softer and more supple. Results may remain from 1 to 2 years following your treatment.
